Geobrick has been specifically designed to give you an informed choice when designing your commercial building or home.
The average kiln fired brick is between 18-25 mpa. This is 18-25 times stronger than it needs to be to hold itself up in a wall (brick veneer) in 95% of cases & therefore uses 18-25 times more energy than is necessary.
There is no need to have a brick strong enough to build a twenty five storey building when you are only building 1, 2, 3 or 4 stories. 1 mpa is more than enough for a single storey veneer building. 2 mpa for a 2 storey building and so on.
If you need a brick that is 25 mpa then Geobrick can supply it (Geo16) with a 22% CO2 saving or 2 tonne per 10,000 bricks.
An eco friendly anti graffiti coating (supplied by Geobrick) can be applied to the outside to strengthen the durability of the bricks if necessary.
