Geobrick is a premium product that offers decades of unprecedented color and presentation if best practice brick cleaning is conducted. Geo Brick recommends choosing a bricklayer that cleans down brickwork with a clean dry sponge whenever pointing up for an exceptional finish.
Biodegradable CITRIC ACID should be used (supplied by Geobrick) mixed 1:5 with water for the final cleaning down of the brickwork. This can be applied with a 100-150 mm wide paint brush or a sponge by rubbing the mixture into the brickwork to remove cement stains and rinsing off with a hose & clean water before the mixture has been allowed to dry. Use a pressure cleaner at a distance no less than 1m from brickwork.
Safety Wear: Thick rubber gloves & safety glasses.
We advise that you DO NOT use hydrochloric acid mixture. This will discolor the bricks to a faded appearance.
